The annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) will take place virtually in Las Vegas from 5-8 January, showcasing the latest advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) in various sectors, including transportation, entertainment, and health. The show is expected to feature a range of AI-enhanced electric vehicles, as well as personal flying machines, which are essentially human-carrying drones. Virtual and mixed reality, blockchain technology, and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are also expected to be prominent at the show as part of the next generation of the internet, known as “Web 3”. Tech designed for remote health assessments and connections with care providers is also expected to feature heavily at CES. In addition, the show will showcase environmentally-friendly products, such as gadgets that remove trash from waterways and apps that help people reduce energy consumption.
